Calgary
Day 1
We traveled from LAX to YYC, Calgary International Airport around 7pm at night. It was a short trip but we arrived close to midnight, Calgary Time. We booked a hotel at the airport which had a nice view of the terminal and runway. Unfortunately we would only use the room for about 5-6 hours before our early start the following morning.
We woke up, got ready and headed out of our In-terminal Hotel and walked about 50 steps to the car rental counter which was amazingly convenient. Our first stop would be the city of Calgary. We stopped at a restaurant called Alforno Bakery
