We then walked to Sumida to visit Tokyo Solomachi Shopping Mall and climb the world’s tallest tower, Tokyo SkyTree. Here we got views of the city of Tokyo all while a Jujitsu Kaisen Exhibit was going on. We had an amazing lunch at Sushi Toriton, before taking a short train ride to Ueno. At Ueno we explored Ueno Park, snapped some pictures at one of Japans 5 oldest parks before walking through Ameoyokocho. Day 3: Tokyo: Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Odaiba
On our 2nd day, we explore Tokyo Imperial Palace. The palace itself is a massive area where the Emperor of Japan and his family resides. The site of the former keep also sits within the park’s beautiful grounds. We walked to Tokyo station after our time at the Imperial Palace. The station is full of restaurants and shops which makes it an activity on its own. There is also 2 famous spots to visit, 1st is Tokyo Station Character Street, where you can find products from famous Japanese Characters groups such as Pokémon, Studio Ghibli, Sanrio. The 2nd is Ramen Street, an area within Tokyo station full of amazing Ramen Shops, some from different parts of Japan. We ended the day in an area of Tokyo called Odaiba, a popular entertainment and shopping district on a man made island. The world famous digital art exhibit teamLab Planets is located here, which is a must visit. After spending some time here we concluded the night visiting the Unicorn Gundam, a Life size statue of a animated Mechanical Armored Suit at Diver City. Diver City is one of 3 large entertainment and shopping buildings next to each other.
